Dixie Belle Gator Hide is a durable, water-based top coat that gives painted furniture, cabinets, and wood surfaces a rock-hard, water-repellent finish. It’s the best clear coat for chalk paint when you need non-yellowing protection that stands up to daily use. Perfect for high-traffic areas like kitchen cabinets, tables, or bathroom vanities. How to Use: Allow paint to fully dry before sealing. Apply a very thin coat with a synthetic brush , roller , or Blue Sponge. Let dry ~30 minutes, then lightly sand between coats. Apply 2–3 thin coats for a water-repellent finish. Clean tools with Scrubby Soap and warm water.
